Jared Mayden, a four-star recruit and the No. 13-rated cornerback in the country, said Wednesday he will play at Alabama.
Mayden, 6-1, 180, is from Sachse, Texas. He once was committed to Oregon and also reportedly considered Oklahoma, Texas and Ohio State.
He had some fun on Twitter after word of his commitment leaked before his televised announcement.
