Former Alabama DT Jarran Reed now plays for the Seattle Seahawks, and according to a report from King-TV in Seattle, he is the subject of a domestic violence investigation.

The report states that Bellevue Police responded to a complaint from a female who claimed that Reed assaulted her in the early morning hours on April 27 at a home in Bellevue, Washington. A domestic violence case is open, and investigators are looking into the claim.

No determination of charges have been made at this time.

Reed was drafted by the Seahawks at No. 49 overall in 2016, and he started seven games as a rookie, including two playoff games. He recorded 34 tackles and 1.5 sacks during his rookie season.

The Seahawks did not comment on the report.
