Former Alabama lineman Jarran Reed lands multi-year NFL deal

Jarran Reed is staying in Seattle.

The former standout Alabama defensive lineman has played his entire NFL career with the Seahawks and he looks to continue that into the 2021 season as Seattle has announced a two-year deal has been reached with the free agent lineman.

Seattle has reportedly agreed to a deal worth a total of $23 million according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

Reed has appeared in 56 games during his NFL career, racking up 156 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks in four seasons. The Seahawks drafted Reed in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

During his playing career in Tuscaloosa, Reed racked up 111 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, seven passes defended and two sacks.
