Saturday was a busy one around the NFL via the trading block for wide receivers.

The Dallas Cowboys made waves when they agreed to a deal to send Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns. Cooper goes to the Browns along with a swap of draft picks between the two teams.

Cooper’s arrival with the Browns has clouded the future of another former SEC star in wide receiver Jarvis Landry. According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Landry has been granted the opportunity to seek a trade out of Cleveland.

Landry is a 5-time Pro Bowler but has had a reduced impact over the past 2 seasons. His best season with the Browns came in 2019 when he had 1,174 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. Landry has 1,410 yards and 5 touchdowns total over the past 2 seasons.

It will be interesting to see if Landry finds a deal this offseason.
