Florida lands new commitment as Orlando lineman Javonte Gardner announces his pledge

One of the top juniors from the Orlando area has announced his commitment. Javonte Gardner is a Gator.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Gardner does not currently have a ranking on the 247Sports Composite Rankings but he does hold scholarship offers from South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky, among others.
Florida already had one of the nation’s top 2021 recruiting classes committed before Gardner announced his decision to commit but the added depth on the line of scrimmage is only going to help the team’s ranking once Gardner receives his rating from the recruiting services.
Gardner announced his public pledge on Friday morning.
