Jaxson Dart says intangibles set him apart from other QBs in NFL Draft

Jaxson Dart has been one of the most talked about players during the NFL Combine, as he has a chance to hear his name called in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward are the top 2 quarterback prospects on most draft boards, but Dart has some traits that make him a very intriguing prospect.

One thing that he believes that separates him from the rest of the QB class is his intangibles.

“I’m very confident with the player that I am and I feel like I can do whatever it takes for a team to win,” Dart told reporters at the NFL Combine. “I feel like I’m somebody who is a culture and organization changer by the way that I go out there. I’ve had success at every level I’ve been. I’ve been able to win at a rate that hadn’t been done before at the school that I was just at. Like I said, I think there’s a lot of great quarterbacks out here. We all have different skill sets and things that separate us, but for me, I feel like the intangibles are what I bring to an organization that kinda set me apart.”

We’ll see if NFL officials agree with Dart’s assessment about his intangibles, but his numbers playing under Lane Kiffin jump off the page. Dart went down as one of the most prolific passers in Ole Miss history, even breaking Eli Manning’s program record for passing yards during his time in Oxford.

Dart played 3 seasons at Ole Miss after playing his freshman campaign at USC. Last season, he threw for 4,279 yards, 29 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Most projections currently have Dart as a 2nd-round pick, but the chance to move up after the combine is in play.
