Jaxson Dart and Tre Harris came up clutch late in the third quarter on Saturday afternoon vs. Kentucky.

In the final seconds of the third quarter, Ole Miss found itself trailing Kentucky 13-10. Facing a 4th and 7, Rebels coach Lane Kiffin decided to roll the dice and go for it — a decision that paid off handsomely.

Dart found Harris over the middle of the field for an easy conversion. Then, he rounded a Kentucky DB and won a foot race to the end zone to give the Rebels their first lead since late in the first half.

This was Ole Miss’ biggest play of the game so far. However, it’s the third play already in this game of 39 yards or more for the Rebels. Ole Miss entered Week 5 tied for second nationally with 17 plays of 30+ yards this year.

Ole Miss trailed at the half despite being favored by more than 2 touchdowns over the Wildcats. It was the first time the Rebels have trailed at the half in a home game since the 2020 season.

Ole Miss is looking to move to 5-0 on the season.
