Gibson is rated the No. 20 Florida product, No. 25 wide receiver and No. 149 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. During his recruitment, Gibson picked up 38 scholarship offers. When Gibson originally committed to Florida on Oct. 13, his other hats on the table were Auburn, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, South Carolina and Tennessee.
This past weekend, Gibson visited Oklahoma. 4-star QB Nick Evers, who was also previously pledged to Florida, visited OU this past weekend and committed to the Sooners on Monday. Multiple 247Sports recruiting experts have submitted Crystal Ball predictions that Gibson will follow Evers to Norman.
