Former Vanderbilt receiver Jayden Harrison announces transfer destination

Two weeks after announcing his decision to leave Vanderbilt, Jayden Harrison has already found his new home.
Leading up to the first spring practice of the Clark Lea era in Nashville, Harrison announced his intention to enter the transfer portal and leave Vanderbilt back on Feb. 15.
“I’d like to thank Vanderbilt University for an amazing start to my college career. I’d also like to thank Coach Derek Mason and Coach Clark Lea for giving me the opportunity. I will always love that black and gold. After a talk with family and mentors, I have made the decision to enter the transfer portal.”
Now we know where the Nashville native will continue on his college career as Harrison has announced he will transfer to Marshall to play for first-year coach, Charles Huff. Huff previously served as associate head coach and running backs coach at Alabama.
Harrison played in all nine games for Vanderbilt last season, registering eight catches for 20 yards and returning seven kickoffs for 141 yards.
The Nashville native signed with Vanderbilt after being rated as a three-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle out of Pearl-Cohn High School.
