Arkansas fans have reason to celebrate heading into the weekend as Sam Pittman’s program has just picked up a new commitment from Tennessee native Jaylen Lewis, who just announced his pledge to join the Razorbacks.

“Go Hogs‼️🐗 Stepped on the ground and felt like home,” Lewis posted on Friday.

The Brownsville, Tenn., native becomes the 13th prospect to commit to the Razorbacks in the 2022 recruiting cycle. A product of Haywood High School, the 5-foot-11, 175-pound Lewis is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 57 cornerback prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Last month, Lewis took a visit to Fayetteville in addition to visiting Auburn, Indiana, Oklahoma and Oregon State.

Lewis is now the second defensive back prospect to commit to Arkansas in the 2022 recruiting class, joining four-star safety Myles Rowser.
