4-star South Carolina linebacker Jaylen Sneed updates his recruitment, names top schools

One of the nation’s top linebacker prospects has narrowed his options down as South Carolina native Jaylen Sneed recently announced his top five schools.

The Hilton Head High School standout has SEC programs Tennesse and Texas A&M in his top five in addition to Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Oregon outside the nation’s best college football conference.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Sneed is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 6 outside linebacker in the nation and the No. 2 overall prospect from the state of South Carolina in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

In addition to being one of the nation’s top prospects on the defensive side of the ball, Sneed has already committed to compete in the 2022 Under Armour All-American Game.
