Tennessee’s offense is rolling early.

The Vols cruised to a touchdown on their first drive of the game after the defense stopped South Carolina on the opening drive.

South Carolina pinned Tennessee inside the 10-yard line on a punt, but the poor starting field position didn’t matter. A plethora of runs and screen passes got the Vols past midfield, and running back Jaylen Wright took care of business from there.

On 3rd and 1, Wright bursted through the middle and found himself with nothing but open field as he jogged into the endzone, giving the Vols an early 7-0 lead.

Tennessee is hoping the offensive game can keep up the production that it had on the opening drive. The Vols are looking for a revenge game after South Carolina shocked them last season and ended their College Football Playoff hopes.

The Vols are on their way to a win, but they’ll need to keep their foot on the gas moving forward.
