Jaylin Williams announces final decision on 2022-23 season

Jaylin Williams has played his last game at Arkansas. The Razorback big man announced Saturday on his Twitter account that he is staying in the NBA Draft, forgoing his remaining college eligibility.

In his sophomore season, Williams established himself as one of the best post players in the SEC. This season, Williams played in 37 games for the Razorbacks, making 35 starts, averaging 10.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. Williams, who helped Eric Musselman’s squad reach the Elite Eight, was recognized as a first-team All-SEC selection by the conference coaches. His 2021-22 honors also include SEC All-Defensive Team and NCAA West Regional All-Tournament Team.

Williams entered the NBA Draft in early April. He had until June 1 to withdraw and return to Arkansas.
