Jaylon Robinson, a standout wide receiver transferring from UCF, will likely be continuing his college football career in the SEC. According to 247Sports, Robinson is expected to decide Ole Miss and Tennessee. He visited UT this weekend and took a trip to Oxford last month for the Grove Bowl.

Robinson announced on April 20 that he would be entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal. It will be the second transfer of his career. Robinson saw limited playing time as a true freshman in 2018 at Oklahoma. He transferred to UCF to play for then-head coach Josh Heupel, now the head coach at Tennessee.

After sitting out the 2019 season due to NCAA transfer rules, Robinson recorded 55 receptions for 979 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2020. Last season, Robinson missed time due to injury, recording 18 catches for 322 yards and 2 TDs over 6 games.

Robinson is listed as a 5-9, 180-pound redshirt senior on the UCF roster. The NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver means he could potentially return for the 2023 season.

We’ll see if he chooses to reunite with Heupel or play in the ‘Sip for Lane Kiffin.
