Jess Sims curves guest picker Theo Von live on College GameDay

College GameDay reporter Jess Sims just shut down Theo Von live on national television.
College GameDay’s schedule is pretty consistent. Before the crew makes their weekly picks, Jess Sims introduces the celebrity picker. This week’s picker, to the dismay of some at Alabama, was Theo Von, a podcaster and stand-up comedian. He has a unique personality, to say the least.
On top of that, Von doesn’t have any tie to Alabama – which plays host to today’s game between the Crimson Tide and Vanderbilt Commodores.
Von asked Sims, “Do I get to see you again?” right before going to make the picks. Here’s what she responded with:
Von was the only Gameday picker to pick Vanderbilt over Alabama.
That would certainly be quite the result. The Commodores of course shocked Alabama last season, downing the No. 1 Tide a week after they knocked off Georgia. This year, as Nick Saban said earlier Saturday morning, the Crimson Tide are out for revenge.
Alabama started the season in poor fashion, falling to Florida State. They righted the ship last week by downing Georgia Sanford Stadium. Vanderbilt, on the other hand, is 5-0 on the year following wins over South Carolina and Virginia Tech in dominant fashion.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
