Jim Schlossnagle has perfect reaction to latest ‘interview curse’ for Texas A&M baseball

Jim Schlossnagle knows a thing or two about ill-timed interviews for Texas A&M baseball.
Throughout this season, Schlossnagle and the Aggies have been bit by miscues, errors or wild plays during an in-game interview with the head coach. He hilariously cut off one interview during the SEC Tournament, labeling it “bad luck” as an Aggie outfielder misplayed what initially looked like a routine fly ball.
Unfortunately, the “interview curse” popped up once again on Friday. Facing LSU in the top of the 4th inning, Texas A&M gave up a lead-off double after getting the Tiger hitter into a 1-2 count.
As the SEC Network interviewer tried to play off the latest incident, Schlossnagle channeled his inner George Costanza to shoulder the blame of the supposed curse:
“It’s obviously me. It’s obviously me,” joked Schlossnagle. “It’s not you, it’s me.”

That lead-off double did come home with an ensuing double for LSU to take a 2-1 lead in the 4th inning. The Tigers tacked on another run in the 5th for a 3-1 lead with the game moving into the 6th inning of action.
