Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M are facing their latest losing streak with South Carolina headed to Kyle Field this week.
The Aggies are trying to snap a 2-game losing skid, and are favored by some 2 touchdowns against a seemingly reeling South Carolina team.
Fisher was asked about team morale and leadership coming out of the bye week.
“Last year I never thought we lost it, this year the guys have been wonderful,” Fisher said. “The practices, the energy, the response is back, leadership council. Those guys take an active role in those things. I would say yes, probably a greater leadership group here, stronger, still have great vision for what the season can be. We’ve got to play 5 games coming down, but we’ve got to play them one at a time, and can still have a great year.”
Fisher said the Aggies got some really good fundamental work accomplished last week during the bye, and execution, where they do ordinary things at a high level. They also introduced some schemes for upcoming opponents.
