Jimbo Fisher wants his Texas A&M squad in an attacking mood on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. That’s the message in a hype clip dropped by the team’s official account Friday night.
Fisher calls on his No. 13 Aggies to attack No. 2 Alabama “like a pack of wild wolves.” The third-year Texas A&M head coach is heard telling him team they’re as talented as any squad and practice as hard as anybody. Fisher is known as a strong recruiter, but the 247Sports Team Talent Composite says Alabama is the second-most talented team in the country while the Aggies are No. 10. The betting public is expecting a comfortable win for UA, as the point spread is currently at 18 points in favor of the Crimson Tide.
As numerous teams have already shown this season, there’s a reason they play the game instead of deciding the outcome on paper. If Texas A&M is able to pull off the upset, the school might have to change the team to the Wild Wolves.
