Jimbo Fisher’s staff at Texas A&M is taking shape, but his search for a DC continues.
Since being hired at A&M, Fisher has made a couple of solid additions to his staff at College Station. He was able to bring TEs coach Tim Brewster with him from Florida State while also hiring Memphis OC Darrell Dickey to lead the Aggies offense.
Both of those additions should be a good boost to A&M, but hiring a DC will be a crucial piece of Fisher’s staff. With that being said, Fisher indicated Thursday that he is not in a rush and will make the hire when the timing is right.
Fisher pointed to the new recruiting dead period as the reason he is not in a hurry to make a move. Brent Zwerneman shared video of Fisher’s comments from the Belk Bowl media session:

While it sounds like Fisher is calmly waiting to make the right hire, fans will have to anxiously wait and see who will lead the Aggies defense next season.
