Ahead of a huge game this weekend, a coach who knows both teams well gave his scouting report.

Jimbo Fisher, who played Alabama and Tennessee in back-t0-back weeks, spoke to the two teams’ similarities and how he thinks Saturday’s matchup will go.

Fisher sees similarities on the defensive fronts, both which gave his team issues in their respective games. Offensively, Fisher sees a few more differences.

“Both have defensively, both have really good fronts,” Fisher said during the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday. “Backers are active. Secondaries cover well. Defensively they’re very good, offensively Alabama not as much no-huddle, I guess they would be more no-huddle on offense, but Tennessee’s backs were excellent, quarterback’s big and strong. Receivers are fast. Alabama little different approach in how they go about their offense, but still very skilled, got very good receivers and yes, I think both games are 1-score games and 1-play games. But very physical, kicking games are sound in what they do, should be a heck of a football game.”

Saturday’s matchup should be a fun one. Alabama comes into the game looking avenge last year’s loss while Tennessee is looking to start a winning streak of its own.

Both teams come into the game and make up for early losses, so the competition will certainly be there.
