Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M have struggled on the road this season.

The Aggies have lost both of their road contests so far this season against Miami and Tennessee. They will go on the road again this week to take on a strong Ole Miss team, which boasts one of the best atmospheres in the SEC. Ahead of the game, Fisher explained what has led to struggles on the road.

“When you go on the road, you gotta silence the crowd. The momentum swings,” Fisher said. “We gotta play better football, you gotta be sound in what you do and everything that goes on. You’ve gotta understand the mentality you have to take on the road. You gotta block out the noise, block out the clutter and go play. You gotta execute in critical moments and that’s what it comes down to.”

Fisher’s team has not been able to silence the opposing crowd this season, and they’ll need to try their best at Ole Miss this weekend. Texas A&M is looking for a signature win before the end of the season, and it won’t be easy against one of the top teams in the SEC.
