The Texas A&M Aggies cruised to a season-opening win against Kent State on Saturday night, but they were down a handful of key defenders.
Starting with the defensive line, McKinnley Jackson and Micheal Clemons both didn’t play after having offseason arrests. Meanwhile, CB Myles Jones was out with an injury.
On Monday during his press conference, coach Jimbo Fisher said Jackson will remain out, while Clemons will be back in action:
Texas A&M DT McKinnley Jackson will not be available for Colorado.
Jackson was suspended for an arrest, returned to practice, but is still undergoing university discipline procedures, according to Fisher.

As for Jones, Fisher said he’s back at practice, but his status for the game has yet to be determined:

K Caden Davis will be back. Davis missed the season opener.

With a tricky trip to Colorado on the schedule for Saturday, having Clemons and Jones back would be a big boost.
