Now that LSU coach Les Miles has been fired, speculation has began about who the next head coach will be.
Most assume interim coach Ed Orgeron won’t land the full-time gig next season, which has led many to list names such as Houston’s Tom Herman and Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher as the Tigers’ top targets.
Fisher has already denied interest in the job once, but the rumors are still out there, so he felt the need to deny them again on Wednesday.
This time, instead of talking about how he’s not interested in the LSU job, he phrased his answer in terms of how much he enjoys his current job:
Jimbo: 'I love this university. I plan on being here for a long time. I love Florida State. That’s all I’m saying' #FSU

Fisher has made it pretty clear that he wants to stay at FSU, but a lot can change between now and December. Chances are he’ll have to deny the rumors a few more times in the coming months.
