Texas A&M, after struggling early against Sam Houston last week, struggled throughout in Week 2 against Appalachian State. No, it’s not 2007, but the Mountaineers have picked up yet another Top 10 win on the road, downing the No. 6 Aggies 17-14.

The Aggies really struggled to stop the Mountaineers’ rushing attack. Appalachian State rushed for well over 175 yards while the Aggies couldn’t buy a big play from anybody not named Devon Achane.

App State deserves to win today. Jimbo Fisher should have pulled Haynes King at the half. The kicker shanked the field goal, but King’s poor throws and decisions were the reasons they didn’t have a first down.
