Joe Brady was one of the key architects for LSU’s dynamic 2019 offense, one that led the Tigers to a national title and a perfect record.

Now he’s the QB coach for the Buffalo Bills, who play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon with a spot in the AFC Championship Game on the line.

But he could be somewhere else in 2023. Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the New York Jets have reportedly requested permission to interview Brady for their offensive coordinator role:

Rapoport notes that Brady might not leave because he loves Buffalo, but other dynamics could also make leaving an unattractive option.

Notably, current Bills OC Ken Dorsey is being considered for head coaching roles. If Dorsey leaves, Brady’s best option might be to try to move up to the spot Dorsey would vacate so he can continue working with QB Josh Allen and one of the NFL’s best offenses.

We’ll see what the future holds for the former LSU assistant, but it seems he’ll have some options this offseason.
