Joe Burrow may have just experienced the greatest individual season in college football history after leading his team to a perfect 15-0 record, the 2019 SEC Championship and, of course, the 2019 national championship.

After completing over 76 percent of his passes and throwing for 5,671 yards with 60 touchdowns and only six interceptions, while adding another 368 rushing yards and five scores, Burrow captured the 2019 Heisman Trophy by the widest margin in the award’s storied history.

While it’s fair to say Burrow is living the dream and will all but assuredly become the No. 1 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, there is one accomplishment that will remain missing following his historic season in Baton Rouge as the former LSU quarterback won’t have the opportunity to grace the cover of the “NCAA Football” video game series.

EA Sports ceased making the game following NCAA 14 but fans of the game haven’t gone anywhere and have been clamoring for its return ever since it went away.

We may be no closer to that date than we were when the game went away following the 2013 release of NCAA 14 but that isn’t going to stop LSU and NCAA fans from dreaming.

The latest example of that? LSU legend Jacob Hester shared a mockup of Burrow featured on the cover of a hypothetical “NCAA 21” game. College football fans may be willing to stay in quarantine another month if EA Sports was willing to deliver this game to their house this weekend:
