Joe Burrow to have appendix surgery, will miss practice time

Training camp will start a little later than normal for Joe Burrow this season.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ franchise quarterback will miss the start of training camp and possibly some preseason time after undergoing surgery to remove his appendix. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport broke the news.

Burrow has a standout season in his second year with the Bengals. He threw for 4,611 and 34 touchdowns in leading the Bengals to Super Bowl LV, where they lost to the Los Angeles Rams.
The first LSU standout was the No. 1 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft after leading the Tigers to a CFP Championship in 2019. He threw for a record 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns to win the Heisman Trophy.
