Joe Burrow’s Heisman odds massively improve after 2 strong 2019 performances

Back in February, LSU QB Joe Burrow opened with 200/1 odds to win the Heisman Trophy.
Through 2 weeks of the season, Burrow has thrown for 749 yards, 9 touchdowns and only 1 interception. He had 471 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 45-38 victory over Texas on Saturday.
Now that he’s off to such a hot start, his Heisman odds are much better. In fact, as of Monday, his odds have improved from 200-1 all the way to 5/1:

That, obviously, is a massive improvement, almost unheard of through 2 weeks of the season. However, he’s been playing really well, so it’s easy to see why Vegas wants to lower his odds.
How long can he continue his magical season? He’ll have a chance to theoretically pad his stats a bit this weekend, as LSU hosts Northwestern State.
