We’re halfway through the 2025-26 college football season. Time flies when you’re having fun, doesn’t it? And thus far, there are 5 SEC offensive lines having a better time than ever other o-line unit in the conference.
On Thursday, the Joe Moore Award revealed its 2025 midseason honor roll. Five SEC schools — Alabama, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt — earned spots on the 24-team list.
The Joe Moore Award is given annually to “the most outstanding offensive line unit, recognizing its consistency, toughness, effort and finishing.” Alabama won the first-ever Joe Moore Award in 2015 and is 1 of 2 schools (Michigan) to win the award multiple times. You can see the full history of Joe Moore Award winners below:
- 2015 – Alabama
- 2016 – Iowa
- 2017 – Notre Dame
- 2018 – Oklahoma
- 2019 – LSU
- 2020 – Alabama
- 2021 – Michigan
- 2022 – Michigan
- 2023 – Washington
- 2024 – Army
The Army Black Knights, last year’s winner, are a candidate to take home the award again this season. As you can see, Michigan is the only school to claim the honor in back-to-back seasons. Both Alabama and Michigan are hoping to become the first 3-time Joe Moore Award winners, while Mizzou, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt are fighting to be the third SEC team to earn the nod (Oklahoma was a member of the Big 12 in 2018).
