Joenel Aguero, top-50 overall 2023 recruit, reveals SEC-heavy top 7

Joenel Aguero has narrowed his 27 scholarship offers down to a top 7. The Massachusetts native has a strong interest in playing in the SEC, naming 5 conference teams in his top group.
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M are in the top 7, alongside Miami and Ohio State.

Aguero is rated 4-stars, the No. 2 safety and No. 49 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. The Lynn, Massachusetts native is listed at 6-feet, 195 pounds.
Aguero’s 247Sports profile show he visited Alabama and Georgia in 2021. Aguero camped with the Crimson Tide in June 2021. He visited UGA on Oct. 2, 2021, and received a scholarship offer from Kirby Smart’s staff on Nov. 15, 2021.
