Will Muschamp is in charge of rebuilding and replenishing Auburn’s defense, and he just added a key piece to the rebuilding puzzle.
Four-star cornerback John Broussard committed to Auburn over LSU and Mississippi State Thursday morning.
Muschamp loves longer cornerbacks to match up against the SEC’s bigger receivers, and Broussard fits that bill. He’s 6-0, 165 pounds, and he’s ranked as the country’s No. 8 cornerback and the No. 98 ranked prospect overall, according to 247Sports.
Broussard becomes the Tigers’ sixth commitment in the 2016 recruiting class.
