John Rhys Plumlee breaks pair of Ole Miss school records in New Mexico State game
John Rhys Plumlee now owns two Ole Miss freshman rushing school records.
Not bad for a quarterback.
One of only three SEC players currently averaging 100 rushing yards per game, the true freshman signal-caller now owns the Ole Miss school-record for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns by a freshman.
Plumlee busted loose for 177 rushing yards and a pair of scores against New Mexico State on Saturday, giving him 777 rushing yards on the season and seven touchdowns on the ground. Both are new Ole Miss records by a freshman.
Just imagine the number Plumlee could have put up if he started the season as Ole Miss’ starting quarterback.
