Jonathan Paylor, 4-star South Carolina target, sets commitment date

Jonathan Paylor is set to announce his commitment to one of 5 programs soon, revealing on Tuesday that he has set a commitment date of August 5, 2023.
It’s no secret that Paylor has been leaning South Carolina’s way for some time now. The 5-9, 170 pound speedster hails from Hugh M Cummings High School in Burlington, North Carolina. He will decide between the Gamecocks, North Carolina, NC State, Penn State and Maryland.

Paylor’s size and athleticism made him a star on the field as a scat back at HMCHS. He could line up in the backfield or potentially slide to receiver in college as he can be dangerous after the catch. Any Chicago Bears fans out there? Think Tarik Cohen.
He is considered to be the No. 138 overall prospect in the nation, as well as the No. 10 ATH and No. 2 player out of North Carolina.
