With 27 seconds left in the first half, Georgia RB Brian Herrien was pushed out of bounds and appeared to knee a photographer in the head as she looked to shoot the game.
CBS Sports sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl reported that the woman was knocked unconscious before she opened her eyes and was on a stretcher. Erdahl said the woman was a student photographer from Georgia.
The play resulted in a three-yard pass to Herrien and he went out of bounds at the five-yard line. The game was halted for several minutes as fans in Jordan-Hare Stadium fell silent as they witnessed what happened.
After an Auburn timeout, Georgia scored two plays later as Herrien caught a similar pass on the other side of the field to score from five yards out.
