Jordan Seaton, 5-star OL and major SEC target, sets commitment date

Jordan Seaton is almost ready to announce his college decision.

Seaton will announce his commitment on Thursday, Dec. 7, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. He’s still considering 6 teams: Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.

Seaton is one of the highest-rated prospects in the country for the class of 2024, regardless of position. He’s the No. 15 overall player and the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 4 player from the state of Florida.

Amongst his finalists, Seaton took official visits to Ohio State, Oregon, Florida and Tennessee this fall. He also officially visited Alabama over the summer.

Seaton attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. However, he previously lived in Washington D.C. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 287 pounds.

Seaton is the top-ranked prospect in the country for the class of 2024 who is currently uncommitted, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He is currently the only Composite 5-star who is not committed to a team as of publication.
