Cleveland will be the third team in Dobbs’ professional career. The former Tennessee standout has spent most of his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In the 2017 NFL Draft, Pittsburgh selected Dobbs with the No. 135 pick overall in the fourth round. His first stint with the Steelers lasted until Sept. 9, 2019, when he was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fifth-round pick in the draft. Dobbs was with the Jaguars for about a year before being waived on Sept. 5, 2020. The Steelers claimed Dobbs off of waivers the next day. In the 2021 offseason, Dobbs re-signed a 1-year deal with Pittsburgh.
Dobbs spent time on injured reserve last season. In his NFL career, he has played in 6 regular-season games during the 2018 and 2020 seasons with the Steelers.
