Josh Dobbs receives love from Tennessee fans following game-winning drive against Atlanta

Josh Dobbs achieved lift off for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.

Dobbs has been with the team since Tuesday and stepped in for starting quarterback Jaren Hall, who left the game with a concussion.

Dobbs had 158 yards passing with 3 total touchdowns and led Minnesota’s game-winning drive to beat the Atlanta Falcons. Dobbs connected with Brandon Powell with 22 seconds to go for the game-winning score. Minnesota ended up winning 31-28.

Things were looking pretty bleak for Minnesota after Kirk Cousins went down with an Achilles injury. However, Dobbs’ late-game heroics now has the Vikings at 5-4 and in second place in the NFC North.

Vols fans went on social media to praise the former Tennessee QB after Sunday’s efforts, with many saying he proved to be a starter after Sunday’s game.
