Josh Paschal, former Kentucky standout, records first sack of NFL career

Josh Paschal can now say he has sacked an NFL quarterback.
Paschal recorded his first NFL regular-season sack on Sunday in the Detroit Lions’ game against the Chicago Bears. Justin Fields was Paschal’s first victim.

This is Game 9 for Paschal in his rookie season. Making his debut in Week 7, Paschal recorded 12 tackles in his first 8 games (4 starts). Sunday, Paschal has 2 tackles as Detroit is on track for a blowout win. The Lions are up 38-10 on the Bears in the 3rd quarter. The game is airing on FOX.
Paschal joined the Wildcats as part of the 2017 recruiting class. His 5-season Kentucky career was capped by a first-team All-SEC selection in 2021. Paschal was selected with the No. 46 overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
