Josh Pate joins ESPN as college football contributor for 2025 season

One of the premier voices in all of college football will be teaming up with ESPN this fall, as Josh Pate has officially announced that he will be a contributor for ESPN’s college football coverage during the 2025 season.

The partnership was officially announced on Thursday morning’s episode of Get Up! by host Mike Greenberg, and Pate confirmed the move via his personal X account later in the day.

Pate, who has long been considered one of the best media personalities in the sport, has been steadily building his brand over the past several years, and has quickly become a pillar of the industry.

His online college football show offers fans around the country insight into what’s going on behind the scenes at all the nation’s top programs regarding everything from recruiting and transfer portal updates, to staff turnover and practice reports.

He often travels big game throughout the college football season to cover major matchups, similar to what ESPN already does with College GameDay.

Now, he’ll also be bringing this expert insight to the Worldwide Leader in Sports as their newest voice on all things in and around the world of college football.
