Josh Primo appears to have landed in an ideal situation professionally. The former Alabama basketball standout became the San Antonio Spurs’ youngest starter in franchise history Friday night at 19 years old.

Primo was the No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. The rookie got the start for the Spurs against the Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately for Primo and co., San Antonio currently trails Philadelphia by double digits in the second quarter. Primo has 5 points on 2-of-2 shooting in the first half.

The game is being broadcast regionally.
