Former Texas A&M defensive lineman Josh Rogers announces transfer destination

Two months after jumping into the NCAA transfer portal, former Texas A&M defensive lineman Josh Rogers has found a new home.
The former Aggie lineman announced his decision to leave the Texas A&M program back in early April after registering just five tackles during his time in College Station.
The Houston native signed with the Aggies during the 2017 recruiting cycle.
Here is the statement he issued after entering the NCAA transfer portal:
“I would first like to say how grateful and blessed I am to have this opportunity. Thank you Texas A&M for the opportunity of a lifetime. God is good. I want to give a special thanks to Coach Sumlin, Coach Fisher, Coach David Turner and Coach Robinson for not only being great coaches but helping me develop as a young man.
“Being able to say I will have a degree from TAMU is amazing and I am proud of myself and appreciate all my loved ones, friends and teammates that supported me along the way. With that being said, I have decided to enter my name into the transfer portal and continue my playing career elsewhere.”
On Tuesday evening, Rogers announced he would be continuing his college football career at Buffalo. Rogers will be eligible immediately.
