Coming into its matchup Saturday with Arkansas, Georgia may be without starting quarterback JT Daniels, who has a latissimus dorsi injury, better known as “lats” injury.

Head coach Kirby Smart updated Daniels’ status to ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe before kickoff:

“It all depends on how JT does in warmups, he’s been able to go some this week, we are hopeful he is able to go.”

If he is unable to go, the Dawgs will once again call on backup Stetson Bennett, who had a spectacular game in a win against UAB a few weeks ago when Daniels was out with an injury.

Whoever ends up starting, the signal caller will face a feisty Arkansas defense who has shut down both ranked Texas and Texas A&M. So, it won’t be an easy task for either quarterback.
