Florida just picked up a big commitment from the state of Texas as Houston native Julian Humphrey has pledged to join Dan Mullen’s Gator program.
The Clear Lake High School standout is currently the highest-rated prospect to commit to Florida in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Humphrey is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 16 cornerback in the county and a top 150 prospect nationally in the 2022 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Following this news, Florida now holds commitments from six prospects in the 2022 recruiting cycle, four of those six are rated as four-star prospects.
