Julian Sayin is the new favorite on DraftKings to win the Heisman trophy. The standout Ohio State quarterback sits on top at +180 to win the award after posting a strong showing against Penn State. By the time you read this story, his odds may be even lower.
It’s hard to have not seen this development coming if you’ve been watching OSU/PSU. Penn State is not the team many thought they’d be preseason, but Sayin has made the Nittany Lions look like your local high school program thus far.
The game is not yet over at the time of writing (Ohio State leads 38-14 late), but Sayin is 20/23 for 316 yards and 4 touchdowns. This is the 5th time this season that Sayin has surpassed 300 yards with multiple passing touchdowns.

Sayin, and by extension Ohio State, has only gotten better as the season has progressed. The Buckeyes are undefeated on the year and boast wins over Texas, Illinois and now Penn State. With their remaining schedule in mind, it’s not hard to envision an undefeated Ohio State competing for a national title when the regular season is up. That is, if Ryan Day can beat Michigan. Apologies for the stray, Ohio State fans.
Can any team outshine Sayin and these Buckeyes?
