Justin Baker, elite RB out of Georgia, puts 4 SEC programs in top 6

Justin Baker is narrowing down his list of potential future programs.

Baker, a Georgia native, released a top 6 on Tuesday morning that includes 4 SEC teams: Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Ole Miss. He’s also still considering Michigan and NC State.

Here’s his announcement:

Baker is one of the top running back prospects in the region. He’s the No. 335 overall prospect and the No. 32 running back in the country for the class of 2025. He’s also the No. 35 player from the state of Georgia.

Currently a 3-star prospect, Baker will likely gain 4-star status before the end of the 2025 cycle.

He attends Buford High School in Buford, Georgia. He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 195 pounds.

Baker’s recruitment has taken off in recent months. He received the bulk of his SEC offers since the calendar flipped to 2023. His Georgia offer came last month. Auburn, Penn State and Michigan State have also shown interest.
