Justin Shorter didn’t have the end to the 2021 season that he wanted, as he was seriously injured in the Gasparilla Bowl.

However, he seems to be recovering, and has apparently reached a decision on what he wants to do in 2022.

As you can see below, Shorter took to Twitter on Christmas Day to tweet that he was returning to Gainesville for the 2022 campaign:

That’s great news for a Florida receiving corps that recently lost WR Jacob Copeland, who led the team in receiving in 2021, to Maryland via the transfer portal.

Shorter had 41 catches for 550 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2021. He’ll be a big part of the Florida offense in 2022 now too, it seems.
