Reports: Justin Worley doubtful to start against No. 4 Alabama

Tennessee quarterback Justin Worley’s status remains uncertain for Saturday’s game against No. 4 Alabama. However, several media outlets and sources close to the program believe that the senior is doubtful to play.
Worley is still listed as the starting QB but we continue to hear that’s doubtful.

Head coach Butch Jones said Thursday afternoon during his weekly appearance on Nashville’s 104.5 The Zone that he would need to further evaluate the senior’s injury status on Thursday and Friday.

Jones told the “3HL” radio program that sophomores Nathan Peterman and Joshua Dobbs could play against Alabama if Worley is forced to sit out.
