Kadarius Toney has a new team, and the former Florida star has a new career milestone: His first NFL touchdown.
Toney, who was acquired by the Kansas City Chiefs in recent weeks, caught a pass from Patrick Mahomes near the sideline, and then hopped his way into the end zone, tight-rope style to score the first points of the day against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The former first-round pick was traded to the Chiefs last month after he battled injuries throughout his stint with the New York Giants.
Toney only had 4 catches on the season coming into the game.
Toney finished his Florida career with the 2020 season, and appeared in 38 games, and had 2,641 all-purpose yards (69.5 average), caught 120 passes for 1,590 yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 580 yards and 2 touchdowns in his career.
