South Carolina linebacker Kaiwan Lewis will transfer from the school. Lewis announced his intentions via Twitter.

He played in eight games and made 20 tackles in 2014, including one sack and one quarterback hurry. The New Jersey native was a four-star prospect out of high school, according to 247Sports.

Thankfully for the Gamecocks, the roster is filled with quality linebackers for 2015. Defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward has his work cut out for him in improving one of the worst statistical defenses in the conference.
