Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama team had a dominant first half against Georgia. At the half, the Tide had a 30-7 lead over the Bulldogs.

However, while things mostly went well for DeBoer’s squad, the coach was still livid after an apparent missed call.

Late in the 2nd quarter, Jalen Milroe threw a pass intended for Germie Bernard. Daniel Harris of Georgia, however, appeared to make contact with Bernard well before the ball arrived. No penalty was called on what appeared to be blatant pass interference, and DeBoer was absolutely livid.

DeBoer yanked off his headset, jumped up and down, and threw his play sheet. The headset in question was reportedly broken, by the way.

Raging at the refs while up by 23 points is a very Nick Saban-esque move by DeBoer. DeBoer is usually calm and collected, so seeing the coach react this way was unexpected to say the least.

While that play didn’t go the Tide’s way, almost everything else has. At the half, Milroe has completed 19 of 21 passes for 199 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. The QB has also added 106 yards on the ground with 2 scores.

The Alabama defense has given Georgia a tough time as well. Carson Beck has completed just 8 of 17 passes for just 98 yards with 2 INTs. Alabama racked up 355 total yards of offense in the 1st half compared to Georgia’s 178.

With a win, the Tide would remain perfect on the season as they eye a return to the College Football Playoff.
